Detachments

• Retinal detachment – thin membrane, anchored at optic nerve
• Choroid detachment – Hour glass shaped thick hyperechoic line also anchored at optic nerve
• Vitreous detachment – Does not anchor at optic nerve
• Vitreous hemorrhage – globular

ONSD

• Not super reliable proxy for ICP
• Measure 3 mm behind retina and need to include both the nerve and nerve sheath
• > 6 mm is abnormal
