Skin glue decreases failure rate at 48 hrs
- Put a drop right were the catheter enters the skin and another drop underneath the hub
- Normal tegaderm over the top
- Decreases movement>decreased phlebitis>maybe decreased infection
- Need to use adhesive remover wipe to dissolve glue prior to removal
